A 35-year-old man from Örnsköldsvik has been sentenced to eight years in prison and over 1.3 million kronor in damages for dozens of cases of child rape, exploitation of children for sexual posing, and child pornography offenses, reports Örnsköldsviks Allehanda.
In total, there have been 14 plaintiffs, with victims as young as ten years old.
According to the prosecutor, the man also deceived some of his victims into believing he was a woman – and told them they could become models for Lindex if they sent him pictures.
The crimes were committed between June 2019 and February this year. The man was arrested and detained in April.
He has denied all allegations and is considering appealing the verdict.
