A fire has broken out at a hotel in central Luleå, reports Norrländska Socialdemokraten and Norrbottens-Kuriren.
The hotel has been evacuated and one person was taken to hospital by ambulance after inhaling smoke.
The alarm about the fire came at 18.20 on Friday and a larger operation was initiated.
Just after 20 o'clock, the rescue service announced that the fire is under control.
It's still a structural fire in the walls, we're tearing down and extinguishing to get to it. There are no threats to other buildings right now, says Oliver Sjöström, alarm and control operator at the rescue service, to TT.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The police have initiated an investigation into gross arson. There are no suspects.
