At least one person is seriously injured after a suspected serious crime in central Vetlanda. It concerns a man in his 30s who is seriously injured and has been taken to hospital. According to the police, it involves stab wounds. The case is classified as attempted murder.
We do not believe it was a random choice of victim, says Erik Creutz of the police.
It is currently unclear what happened.
First and foremost, we cordon off and secure the crime scene. A technical investigation will take place there tonight, says Creutz.
By 9 pm on Sunday evening, no suspect had been arrested.
