A police officer left a bag with their service weapon in it during a visit to Ikea in Jönköping and then left. A customer found the loaded weapon and now the police officer risks a salary deduction for misconduct, according to Sveriges Radio P4 Jönköping.
The police officer was at Ikea on duty and soon realized that the weapon had been left at the store. But when they returned, the staff had already called the police. The incident has been reported to the Police Authority's personnel responsibility board.
