The former high jumper founded the controversial site together with Sara Nilsson, first as an association and later as a limited company.

The co-founder and responsible publisher Sara Nilsson has in turn left the board assignment. On X, she writes that she requested to leave as early as November 18.

According to Aftonbladet, she is being investigated for child pornography offenses – a crime she denies.

"I am very meticulous about not handling abuse material, so I don't need to worry about that. I welcome an investigation since I have nothing to hide". she wrote in an SMS to Aftonbladet.

To ETC, Sara Nilsson says she is leaving the business due to cancer treatment:

I've been on chemotherapy since December and then I shouldn't take on too much, she says to the newspaper.

A preliminary investigation is underway against Dumpen and a collaborative company that allegedly offered men they confronted the opportunity to "buy their way out" of being exposed on the site. Representatives for Dumpen and the collaborative company have denied this in interviews.

Corrected: In an earlier version of the text, there was an incorrect statement about the site Dumpen's responsible publisher.
