The men, 37 and 21 years old, are convicted of preparation for general destruction and serious crime against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods, respectively, and aiding and abetting the same crime.

It was last autumn that the 37-year-old was arrested when he, masked, was riding an electric scooter along a pedestrian path in Örebro. A bag thrown into a nearby woodland glade was found to contain a bomb that he is suspected of having been in the process of placing.

Shortly thereafter, a 21-year-old man was arrested, suspected of involvement.

The target of the bombing was, according to the district court, a woman who had previously had a relationship with a 36-year-old gang criminal from Malmö who is suspected of having ordered the act.

The man was arrested earlier in January in Albania and is suspected of several cases of gross unlawful threats against his former girlfriend as well as against her family members, writes Nerikes Allehanda.
