On Friday evening, two people, a man and a woman, were found dead in a residence in Eskilstuna. The police then launched a preliminary investigation into murder or manslaughter.

On Monday, the police announced on their website that they no longer suspect a crime, but the preliminary investigation is still ongoing.

There is nothing that suggests a crime at present, says police spokesperson Martina Gradiam.

The cause of death has not been established.

We are awaiting an autopsy report to conclude the preliminary investigation. It should arrive within a few days, says Martina Gradiam.
