Axfood is recalling mung beans of the Eldorado brand. The reason is that the product has been found to contain residues of pesticides, the company writes in a press release.

The recall concerns Eldorado dried mung beans, 800 grams, with a best-before date of 11-2026 and batch number 22056.

Earlier, the same product with a best-before date of 09-2026 and batch number 21724, as well as 10-2026 and batch number 21856, was stopped for the same reason.

"Axfood takes the incident seriously and is now investigating together with the supplier how it could have happened", the company writes in the press release.

Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to return it to the store where it was purchased to receive a refund.
