Four high-ranking Ukrainian government officials have resigned, including the country's Environment Minister Ruslan Strilets and Justice Minister Denys Maliuska, reports Kyiv Independent. Alexander Kamysjin, Minister responsible for, among other things, military industry, has also submitted his resignation.
It is the Ukrainian Parliament's Speaker Ruslan Stefantjuk who has informed that the resignations have been submitted to Parliament.
The resignations will be addressed by Parliament at one of the upcoming plenary sessions, according to Stefantjuk.
The reason for the officials' resignations is unclear. For several months, there have been reports that a number of ministers may be replaced.
