Within the span of a few hours on Wednesday evening, three suspected shootings occurred in Stockholm County. One in Bagarmossen, one in Järfälla, and one in Södertälje.

The first shooting took place on the platform at Bagarmossen's subway station in southern Stockholm, right in the middle of rush hour at around 6 pm. No one was injured, but a man was later arrested during the evening, suspected of attempted murder and serious weapons offenses. On Thursday, the man was detained, according to DN.

An hour later, a suspected shooting occurred at a villa in Järfälla, north of Stockholm. Several people were reportedly in the house, but no one was injured. At midnight, the police announced that they had arrested two teenagers, one of whom was under 18, suspected of the incident in Järfälla, and who were later detained by the prosecutor on Thursday.

In Södertälje, the police were alerted to a local in Fornhöjdens center shortly after 9 pm. A man was found shot and was taken to the hospital. The man was treated at the hospital overnight, but his condition is unclear, according to the police. A person has also been detained in this case.

Earlier on Thursday, the police could not say whether there is any connection between the three suspected shootings.

We have an enormous criminal police operation that has worked all night to gather intelligence. In some cases, there are connections, and in some cases, there are not. I cannot say more than that, as it is a sensitive situation, says Ola Österling.
