Further six people are prosecuted after the riots in Skäggetorp in Linköping 2022, reports P4 Östergötland. The individuals, who are between 30 and 44 years old, are suspected of having thrown stones or other objects at police officers. They are prosecuted for gross sabotage against emergency services.

In August 2023, six young people aged 16 to 21 were convicted of gross sabotage against emergency services after participating in the so-called Easter riots in Skäggetorp.

During the Easter weekend in 2022, riots broke out in several Swedish cities, after the right-wing extremist politician Rasmus Paludan planned to burn Korans at locations around the country.
