The difference between the political blocks is growing compared to the measurement in May last year. At that time, the difference between the opposition and the Tidö parties was 7.6 percentage points - now it is 12.8.

The Moderate Party and the Sweden Democrats are losing the most, each by 1.5 percentage points. M is at 18.3 percent and SD at 18 percent.

Since the election, SD has lost 2.5 percentage points.

Under the threshold

At the same time, the Liberals' journey downwards continues. The party remains below the Riksdag threshold with 2.8 percent (-0.4). The Christian Democrats also land below the line with 3.4 percent (+0.6).

Two clear trends compared to the measurement in May last year are that the Liberals are leaving the party for the Centre Party, while the SD is losing the most to parties outside the Riksdag.

But since the Riksdag election, both SD and M have lost the most to S.

The Social Democrats receive 36.2 percent in SCB's measurement, up 1.2 percentage points. The change, however, is not statistically guaranteed.

Compared to the 2022 election, the increase is 5.9 percentage points.

"If it were an election today, the Social Democrats would take a step forward," writes SCB in a press release.

The Left Party loses to 7.1 percent (-1.1) compared to May last year, the Green Party increases slightly to 6.5 percent (+1.3) and the Centre Party lands at 5.5 percent (+1.0).

Differences between the sexes

Party sympathies differ between men and women. More women than men would vote for S, KD, V and MP if it were an election today, while more men than women would vote for M and SD. Approximately as many men as women sympathize with C and L.

SCB's large party sympathy survey is presented once a year and shows how Swedes would have voted if it were a Riksdag election today.

Almost 9,200 people have been asked in the survey. About half did not answer for various reasons and the result is based on answers from just under 4,600 people.
