The man who was injured in a drowning accident at a swimming pool in Umeå over the weekend has died, the police write on their website.
The incident is being investigated by the police, but there are no suspicions of crime.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. For some reason, the man, who was in his 40s, ended up at the bottom of a pool. He was pulled up by staff who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
