A 55-year-old man has died in connection with logging in the forest outside Stenungsund.
There are no suspicions of crime from the police's side. It will be a death investigation, says Jens Andersson, press spokesperson at the police.
The man was crushed under a tree and the rescue service, ambulance, and police were alerted at around 13:30 on Wednesday. The man died on the spot.
He was there working. But as I understand it, there are no employment circumstances that would make it a workplace accident, says Jens Andersson.
Relatives have been informed.
