A man in his 60s has died in connection with a fire in an apartment building in Jönköping, the police write on their website.
The police describe it as a "severe fire in an apartment" but that the fire did not spread to other apartments. The alarm came at 12 o'clock on Saturday.
The building did not need to be evacuated.
"A preliminary investigation with the classification of gross negligence has been initiated", the police write.
