A man in his 80s has died on Monday following a suspected drowning accident in Högbo outside Sandviken, reports Arbetarbladet/Gefle Dagblad.
It was on Saturday that the rescue services were alerted by the public to a watercourse where the man was found. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
There are no suspicions of crime, but the police are still conducting a forensic examination.
Relatives have been informed.
