A man in his 60s was attacked on Friday morning with a blunt object on a street on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm.
The unknown perpetrator was apprehended near the scene and a blunt object was seized. He was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance, conscious and able to speak. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to the police.
It is unclear what led to the incident.
