A 35-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of a knife attack against a 16-year-old in Hallstahammar.
We suspect that some kind of dispute lay behind it, something triggered this. He didn't attack just anyone, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, police press spokesperson.
The police were alerted during Saturday night by a witness. The man and the boy are said to have gotten into a fight near a school in Hallstahammar, but the 16-year-old managed to defend himself and escaped without serious injuries.
The police later arrested a 35-year-old during the night, who is now detained, suspected of attempted aggravated assault.
