A man in his 70s was taken from his home in Skärholmen in southern Stockholm and beaten to death. Now, a man is sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, reports P4 Jönköping.
The kidnapping took place at the end of April last year. The man was bound hand and foot and forced into the trunk of a car. Two days later, his severely beaten body was found at a rest stop along the E4 outside Huskvarna.
Three men are now convicted of involvement in the murder.
One of them receives a life sentence for murder and kidnapping, one is sentenced to five years and ten months in prison for kidnapping, and a third, who was 17 at the time of the murder, is sentenced to closed youth care for one year and eight months.
