The police do not rule out a connection between Tuesday evening's two explosions, one in Gullspång and the other on Hisingen in Gothenburg, reports P4 Skaraborg.
The blasts on Tuesday evening occurred with an eight-minute interval.
At 23.03, an alarm was received by the Gothenburg police about a powerful bang at a gate to an apartment building on Hisingen.
At 23.11, an alarm was received about an explosion at an apartment building in Gullspång, about 20 miles away.
In Gullspång, a man is being held, suspected of the crime.
The events are being investigated separately, but the police and prosecutor are also investigating whether there may be a connection between the two crimes, according to the radio channel.
It's a general investigative measure, to check other cases, it's not much more than that, comments Lars Johansson, prosecutor in the Gullspång case, to TT.
No personal injuries have been reported in connection with the blasts, according to the police.
In Gothenburg, no one has yet been arrested for the blast on Hisingen. But the technical investigation is complete and the police are working on collecting witness statements from the event.
We are naturally looking into whether there is a connection to other cases or events, but it's nothing we can confirm or comment on right now, says Jenny Widén, police press spokesperson in Region Väst.
