King Carl XVI Gustaf has decided on a number of medal awards. Among other things, the former national team captain Janne Andersson will be awarded His Majesty the King's medal, 8th size in blue ribbon, for "significant contributions to Swedish football".
Chef and TV presenter Tina Nordström will also receive the same medal for "notable contributions to Swedish gastronomy".
Singer, producer, and songwriter Laleh Pourkarim will be awarded the medal Litteris et Artibus, as will actor Lennart Jähkel.
The medals will be awarded on June 13 at the Royal Palace.
