Two hospitals in the war-torn city of Khan Yunis claim to have received the remains of tens of people at around three o'clock in the morning, following bombings from the air and ground battles. Among the dead are reportedly both women and children. Tens of people have been injured, with several said to be hovering between life and death.

Israel continues to attack the Gaza Strip, despite the fact that attacks and battles are also taking place elsewhere, and the situation in Lebanon is causing great concern.

Over the past few days, Israel has attacked several school buildings in the northern parts of Gaza, resulting in at least ten deaths. According to Israeli claims, the schools were no longer being used as shelters by fleeing civilians, but by fighting Hamas members.

According to the latest compilation from the authorities in Hamas-ruled Gaza, more than 41,600 people have been killed there during the past year's war. The Palestinian death toll is not sorted by civilians and combatants, but around half have consistently been reported to be women and children.
