Several bridges in Syria, near the border with Lebanon, were bombed on Monday, reports AFP, citing Syrian state television.
Two civilians were injured in the attacks, according to Syria's Defense Ministry.
According to the UK-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR), two Syrians with ties to Hezbollah were killed.
Israel claims to have struck against roads that Iran has used for decades to smuggle weapons to its proxies in the region, primarily the Shia militia Hezbollah in Lebanon, which Israel is at war with.
With secret routes monitored and used by Iran through Syria to Lebanon, thousands of drones and other weapons are said to have been brought into Hezbollah, according to Israel, which also accuses Syrian authorities of "tacit consent" to the operations.
However, the roads between Lebanon and Syria have also been important for those fleeing the war in Lebanon. Many of the roads have been destroyed in similar attacks recently.
