Leading fuel chains are raising prices on gasoline, diesel, and ethanol.
The reference price for 95-octane gasoline at manned stations is being raised by 20 öre to 17.54 kronor per liter, while the diesel price is being raised by 15 öre to 17.99 kronor per liter.
The price of biodiesel is also being raised, up by 15 öre to 21.24 kronor per liter. And the price of ethanol (E85) is being raised by 10 öre to 14.44 kronor per liter.
Fuel prices are generally lower at unmanned stations and can vary locally.
More than half of the prices of fossil fuels consist of carbon dioxide tax, energy tax, and VAT on both the taxes and the fuel itself.
