If you get a job interview that is far from where you live, you can get the cost paid for, for example, the trip there. The government has now made a decision to increase the compensation.
”It will become easier to move to where the jobs are. Not being able to afford to do an interview in another location should not hinder one's opportunities on the labor market. This is an important decision for the labor line", says Minister for Labor Market and Integration Mats Persson (L) in a written comment.
The compensation – which is being raised for the first time since 2010 – will land at 3,600 kronor per occasion, compared to previously 2,500 kronor.
