A person has been rescued from a burning apartment in Lund, reports Sydsvenskan.
The rescue service was alerted at 01.30, during the night leading up to Thursday, and was able to confirm on site that there was a fire in an apartment on the second floor.
A person has been found in the apartment and is being taken care of by an ambulance. The fire has burned quite extensively in the apartment, but it is now extinguished, says Gustaf Sandell, duty officer at the rescue service to the newspaper.
The person has been taken to hospital with unclear injuries. The fire did not spread to other apartments.
