A helicopter with seven people on board was reported missing in the Kiruna mountains in the area around Nikkaluokta/Abisko during Monday afternoon.
After about an hour, the police re-established contact with the helicopter.
The alarm was received by the rescue service at 13:26 after contact was lost with the helicopter at 1 pm.
The police launched a mountain rescue operation, but soon re-established contact.
We have just re-established contact with the helicopter and the situation is green, says a press spokesperson at the Sea and Air Rescue Centre to SVT News Norrbotten at 14:20.
