The climate activist Greta Thunberg was arrested on Saturday during a demonstration in the Netherlands, organized by the network Extinction Rebellion, reports Expressen.
In connection with the demonstration, the A12 highway in The Hague was blocked, and according to reports, the police on site used water cannons to disperse the demonstrators. The group has demonstrated several times before at the same highway in The Hague. In April, Greta Thunberg was arrested during one of these demonstrations.
Most recently, in June, the Swedish climate activist was arrested during a demonstration in Helsinki, also organized by Extinction Rebellion.
