Four people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a murder of a woman in Eskilstuna on September 17, according to the Prosecution Authority.
The four were arrested and detained on Thursday. They are a woman and a man in their 35s, a man in his 25s, and a man in his 60s.
The 25-year-old is being held on probable cause suspected of murder, while the individuals in their 35s are being held on probable cause suspected of aiding and abetting murder. The man in his 60s is being held on reasonable suspicion of instigating murder.
On Thursday, two people were arrested in Greece suspected of involvement in the same murder. The individuals had previously been requested to be detained in their absence and were internationally wanted.
According to Expressen, Greek media report that one of those arrested in Greece is a relative of the deceased woman, and the suspects are related to each other.
The prosecutor must bring charges against the three individuals being held on probable cause by November 8 at the latest. Regarding the man in his 60s, the prosecutor has one week to work up the suspicions to probable cause, otherwise, he will be released.
