"All of them are still in need of operations and care, as well as physical and mental rehabilitation. In individual cases, the injuries themselves are still considered serious," says Region Örebro County in a statement about the four remaining patients.
A fifth person injured by gunfire has been discharged from the hospital in Örebro earlier in the week, according to the region.
At the same time, the investigation into the mass shooting continues.
Investigation Order
On Wednesday, prosecutors issued a European investigation order in the case, which means that Sweden can receive help in gathering evidence in other EU countries, writes Aftonbladet. It is unclear which country Sweden has requested help from.
Examples of measures that can be taken after a European investigation order include questioning witnesses or collecting technical evidence, such as fingerprints and DNA samples.
Previously, Sweden has requested help from Irish authorities, among other things, regarding Andersson's financial transactions.
Flight Information
According to the Prosecution Authority, a request for help abroad was made during the week to check flight information. However, it is unclear whether these measures were included in the investigation order.
"Prosecutors have requested legal assistance and unmasking of flight passenger information in recent days to map the suspected perpetrator's background and potential contacts with other individuals," the authority writes in a press release on Thursday.
No clear motive behind the deed has yet been found. Anna Bergkvist, who led the police investigation during the first week, has stated to DN that it is uncertain whether a motive will be found.
Rickard Andersson murdered ten people in the attack on Campus Risbergska on February 4 this year, before taking his own life.
