Five men are sentenced for throwing stones at the police in April 2022, reports SVT Skåne.

It was when the right-wing extremist Danish-Swedish politician Rasmus Paludan held a meeting where he was going to burn a Koran at Skånegården outside Malmö, that the five men attacked the police. Among other things, they threw stones and gravel and forced a riot fence.

The sabotage continued on and off during the three-hour gathering. The men are now sentenced to between two months and one year in prison.

Paludan himself is charged with incitement to racial hatred in connection with the incident. The verdict is expected within a week.
