The property's value of 6.5 million kronor will thus accrue to the state, the police write on their website.
"It's an interesting verdict that we're following. We're continuing the asset-focused work of securing fixed and movable property with the help of the new legislation", says Karin Jensen, project leader at the police's National Operational Unit in a statement on the police's website.
The new legislation on independent forfeiture, which came into effect on November 8, means that it's enough that it's more likely that the property originates from criminal activity than not.
The police have initiated a total of 119 cases within a month of the law coming into effect, with seizures worth a total of 22.2 million kronor.
"It's an offensive legislation and now we're underway", says Jensen.
