People living on the outskirts of Greece's capital, Athens, are being urged to leave their homes as a large forest fire spreads in strong winds.
The fire is raging near Vári, about three miles south along the coast from central Athens.
More than 40 firefighters are working to try to put out the fire with the help of six aircraft dropping water from the air. There are no reports of anyone being injured or property being damaged.
Many fires have broken out in the countryside in Greece over the past few days, as temperatures have reached or exceeded 40 degrees. So far, all have been extinguished before causing any significant damage.
