Five teenagers who were suspected of aiding and abetting aggravated assault in connection with the murder of a 14-year-old in Landskrona have been cleared from the investigation, reports HD/Sydsvenskan.
Two teenage girls are still suspected of committing the murder.
The five who are now cleared from the investigation were previously suspected of being involved in the sequence of events, but not in the actual murder.
Prosecutor Pernilla Nilsson tells the newspaper that she does not want to go into why the investigation against the five is being dropped.
Previously, an adult person, who was suspected of grossly protecting a perpetrator, has also been cleared from the investigation.
The 14-year-old girl was found dead in an industrial area in Landskrona on the night of Tuesday, July 23.
