Equipment that can be used for the production of drones and rockets may no longer be sold, exported, or transferred from EU countries to Iran.
The decision is part of an expansion of the EU's sanctions against Iran, adopted by the EU countries' foreign ministers on Monday.
At the same time, all economic contacts with ports and locks used to send Iranian drones and rockets to Russia are also prohibited.
An additional person and four companies – including one Iranian and three Russian shipping companies – are also added to the EU's sanctions list.
