The plane took off from Gdansk in Poland at 18:00 and was on its way to Tromsø in Norway when it was redirected to Arlanda and landed at 19:15.
A warning alarm has gone off. The pilot has noticed that something is not as it should be, contacted Arlanda and has gone down as a pure safety measure. It was a normal landing entirely according to routine, says Peter Wärring, press officer at Swedavia, at 20:00.
According to initial information, it was about smoke development in the cabin, but to TV4 News, the rescue service says it was rather about a smell of smoke.
The rescue service was on site, but has left, so there is no ongoing operation. Now we are waiting for a message from the airline about whether they will fly further tonight or wait, says Wärring.
