An elderly man assaulted a store employee in Bengtsfors, Dalsland with a piece of meat on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he returned – and became violent again.
The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and violent resistance, according to the police website.
The man, who is in his 75s and has previously been banned from the food store, appeared on Tuesday and behaved aggressively. When he refused to leave the store, a female employee called the police, whereupon the man allegedly assaulted the woman with a piece of meat, according to Dalslänningen.
On Wednesday morning, the police were alerted to the store again after the man returned and behaved aggressively. According to the police, the man allegedly stole goods and acted violently towards both staff and police after being caught.
