A 75-year-old man is suspected of having assaulted a staff member at a food store in Bengtsfors, Dalsland, with a piece of meat, according to Dalslänningen.
The man, who had previously been banned from the store, was aggressive and rowdy when he appeared on Tuesday morning.
A female staff member alerted the police while the man refused to leave the store. He is then suspected to have hit the woman in the face with a piece of meat and also pressed her against a fridge.
With the help of a customer, the staff managed to overpower the man while waiting for the police.
