A person fell from the roof of a dementia care facility in Härryda municipality on Friday morning, reports Göteborgs-Posten. The person was seriously injured, and a Lex Sarah investigation has been initiated.
The person first climbed out through a window, then up onto the roof and fell down from there, and was subsequently taken to hospital.
We suspect that a window was unlocked. We otherwise have locked windows on this unit, but for some reason this window was not locked, says the municipality's operations manager for care and nursing, Anna Hildesson, to the newspaper.
