The semiconductor giant, world-leading in the manufacture of graphics cards and processors for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, is prohibited by the American government from selling its most advanced semiconductors to Chinese companies.

China announced last week that it will restrict exports to the USA regarding some of the key components used in the manufacture of semiconductors, reports the news agency AFP. This follows the introduction of new restrictions on chip technology exports to China from the American side.

Nvidia has repeatedly tried to develop chips that comply with the rules applicable in the USA and that can be made available to Chinese customers at the same time.
