Three men have been injured after a boat exploded indoors in a local facility in Holmsund south of Umeå, local media reports.
During work on a boat in a storage facility, it appears that there was a fuel leak where the fuel fumes were ignited and caused a smaller explosion, says Amanda Nordström at the rescue center North.
The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance. According to Region Västerbotten, there are three men between 25-30 years old. One of them is seriously injured and admitted to the intensive care unit, while the other two are moderately and slightly injured, respectively.
