A man in his 30s has been arrested by the police on suspicion of attempted public destruction, the police write on their website.
According to Sydsvenskan, the police were alerted to an apartment in Lund on Thursday afternoon after a person called in about a threatening man.
It's a person who has been inside the apartment, who leaves and then alerts us, says Katarina Rusin, press spokesperson at the police command center, to Sydsvenskan.
Inside the apartment, the police found a suspicious liquid.
It (the liquid) has to do with the threat, but I won't be able to go into more detail, says Rusin.
The police bomb squad arrived at the scene to take the liquid with them. In connection with the alarm, a number of people were confined to their apartments and a cordon was set up. It was later lifted at 4 pm.
