More voters than before have cast their ballots in advance in several states in the USA, reports AP. So far, more than 23 million people have made their choice, seen across the entire country. It is approximately one tenth of the number of eligible voters.
The high number of advance votes in some states is partly driven by Republicans going to the polls early following calls from their candidate Donald Trump.
Previously, Trump has instead urged his voters to avoid advance voting.
