Vanadislunden is one of Stockholm’s largest parks. Visit Stockholm says it is named after Vanadis, another name for the Norse goddess Freya, and has walking paths among the trees, several playgrounds and a view over Stockholm.

The lower playground is in the park’s lower section. Stockholm’s city page describes a play bridge, slide, swings, sandbox and climbing equipment, along with seats, a large pavilion and picnic tables. The city says the design was developed with children and parents. An outdoor gym is next to the playground, and there is another playground higher up in the park.

Gravel paths lead to the lower playground from Sveavägen and Frejgatan. The city lists a companion swing with a sand landing surface and a sandbox with back support. Visit Stockholm says the open-air Vanadisbadet swimming pool is available for swimming during the summer months. The pages give no price or opening hours for the park or lower playground.
