Bergsgruvan is a mid-sized playground in a narrow strip of park beside Södra Station on Södermalm. The terrain is rocky, with exposed rock and natural changes in level. Children can use a friendship swing, other swings, playhouses, climbing frames and slides set into slopes. There is also a sandbox. The city says some equipment is specially designed for accessibility, including a raised sandbox.

An artificial-turf sports field adjoins the playground. At the lower end, beside Rosenlundsgatan, there is a fenced ball court. The city says the court can be used for ice skating in winter, and a small hill for sledding. The park has seating and a barbecue grill.

The playground is at Rosenlundsgatan 42, a short walk from Södra Station commuter rail station, according to Visit Stockholm. The city describes it as planned to be accessible to everyone, but does not specify wheelchair or stroller access. Its page gives no admission price or opening hours, and no suggested visit length.
