Upplevelsemuseet is an interactive museum beneath the entrance to 3 Arena in Johanneshov, beside Globen Shopping. The exhibition is designed for children and adults, and the museum says it changes over time. Visitors can smell a notorious animal scent, shake a rattlesnake’s rattle, try a virtual-reality walk on a plank 200 metres above the ground, and use mixed reality to encounter animals. Other examples include dinosaur fossils and a claw, real fossilised dinosaur dung, and snacks from around the world, including mealworms and fried crickets. The museum also has giant African land snails that visitors may hold.

Most visits take 80 to 130 minutes. Adults pay 210 SEK (about $22.3/£16.8); visitors under 18 and pensioners pay 185 SEK (about $19.7/£14.8), and children aged three to five pay 95 SEK (about $10.1/£7.60). Children in a stroller for the whole visit enter free. The usual hours are 16:00–19:00 on weekdays, 10:00–17:00 on Saturdays and 11:00–17:00 on Sundays. The museum says it opens earlier on weekdays during school holidays, with exact holiday and public-holiday times in its booking calendar.

Children under nine often need help from a parent, and parents are expected to supervise children around delicate exhibits. The museum allows wheelchair users, but its toilet is not wheelchair-accessible; there is an accessible toilet in the shopping centre. It accepts card payments only, including for tickets bought at the door.
