The Museum of the Future is inside Globen Shopping mall in Johanneshov, below Dressmann. Visitors can try VR games, including multiplayer experiences, speak with social robots and test advanced AI systems such as GPT-4 and MidJourney. The exhibits also include sound-controlled ferrofluid, ultraviolet mirrors, graphene, mixed reality and Spotty, a robotic dog.

Admission is 210 SEK for adults (about US$20.2, £16.5), 185 SEK for children under 18 and seniors over 65 (about US$17.8, £14.6), and 95 SEK for children under six (about US$9.12, £7.48). You can buy tickets at the entrance, but the museum says they may sell out and recommends booking ahead. It accepts card payments only, including for walk-ins.

The museum is open from 16:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and 11:00 to 17:00 on Sundays. It says it is usually open from 10:00 during holidays, but asks visitors to check its booking calendar for exact holiday hours. Most visits take 70 to 140 minutes. During school holidays, visits are limited to two hours.

The venue says children under six may need substantial help to enjoy the activities, and parents are expected to supervise children around fragile exhibits. The museum is wheelchair accessible, but its toilet is not; a wheelchair-accessible toilet is available in the shopping centre. Large lockers for suitcases and other items are included in the admission price.
