Rålambshovsparken, also called Rålis, stretches from Lilla Västerbron towards Riddarfjärden on Kungsholmen. Its broad central lawns are bordered by trees and shrubs; the city says people use them for picnics, sunbathing and informal play. The park has an amphitheatre, a play area with a splash pool, an outdoor café, sports courts, climbing blocks and an outdoor gym.

Under Lilla Västerbron, visitors will find a skate facility, running tracks, basketball hoops and a long-jump pit. Visit Stockholm lists football, boule, beach volleyball and softball among the park’s activities. It also describes summer aerobics sessions and swimming in Lake Mälaren. The park has views over Riddarfjärden, Stockholm City Hall and Gamla Stan.

The park began taking shape in 1936, when Västerbron was being built. Its amphitheatre opened in 1953, and the park contains public artworks including Domarring by Egon Möller Nielsen, dated 1945, and Fjärilen by Elli Hemberg, dated 1980. The city’s page does not give an admission price, opening hours or a suggested visit length.
