Hornsbergs strandpark runs along Kungsholmen’s northern shore. Its winding waterfront has three long piers with seats and views across the water. A walking path follows the shore, beside lawns, perennial plantings and trees. The park also has an outdoor gym, an outdoor shower, a pergola, a barbecue area and public toilets. The eastern end is less landscaped, with freely growing trees and shrubs. The path forms part of a green route around Kungsholmen.

The city says people use the park for walks and exercise throughout the year, including in November. Swimming is especially popular in summer. Visit Stockholm describes several places to swim along the path. Kristinebergsbadet and Kristinebergs strandpark are next to the park, and restaurants and cafés are in the area.

The park was built on reclaimed land as industrial land was converted to housing in the early 2000s. It was completed in 2012 and received the Swedish Association of Architects’ Siena Prize for good outdoor environments that year. The city’s page lists facilities but gives no admission price or opening hours.
