Elisabeth Biström’s watercolours trace six years of change at Slussen, and 18 art prints based on her paintings are on view at Slussenrummet. Biström followed the Slussen project as it progressed. The City of Stockholm says the exhibition offers a new perspective on the historic transformation by drawing attention to the people and work behind the construction fence.
The exhibition may interest visitors who want to see a city project through an artist’s work, or who are curious about the people and labour behind Slussen’s redevelopment. It remains on view this week, through Saturday, 7 November. The prints bring together Biström’s record of the project over six years.
