Sågverkstrampet is a 13 km route for walking and cycling between Söderhamn and Sandarne. It begins at an information board just east of Faxeholmen. From there, follow the signs to the Söderhamn River, turn right and continue along the river and Söderhamnsfjärden to the quay at Stugsund. The route then follows Jungfrukustvägen to Stenö, where Stenö Havsbad and Camping is located.
Information boards along the way describe Söderhamn’s sawmill era, which the route listing dates from 1860 to the 1930s. There are several rest stops, including places to pause and look out over the Söderhamn archipelago. In spring, herring fishers may be at the Stugsund quay. From Stenö’s bathing area, a side route leads to the forest lake Pipsjön via Pipsjöleden. The route is marked, and the listing carries a warning about storm-felled forest. It describes a 13 km route.
